Research
YourView exists so that honest, self-reported daily life — sleep, energy, mood, what you took, how you felt — can add up to something larger than one person's log. Here is exactly how that works, and exactly what it never includes.
Aggregate only
Research views show statistics computed across participants — averages, counts, distributions. Individual entries are never part of any research surface.
Small groups are suppressed
Any statistic that would describe fewer than ten participants is hidden entirely. If a group is small enough that someone might stand out, the number simply doesn't exist.
There's no identity to leak
Anonymous logs have no name, email, or account attached — the database stores only a one-way hash of each participant's access token. An aggregate can't be traced back to a person we can't identify ourselves.
You can see exactly what they see
Inside the app, the Research screen shows every participant the same suppressed, aggregate-only view that research access provides — computed by the same code. Transparency you can check, not a promise you have to trust.
For researchers
Formal research access — applications, review, and data-use agreements — is being designed and isn't open yet. When it is, every request will be reviewed, access will be limited to the same suppressed aggregates described above, and participants will always be able to see what was shared.
